Deciding Upon A Topic

When deciding upon a topic to blog about, I wanted it to be about something that would be of interest to others, while also allowing me to enjoy what I was writing about. Celebrity encounters have been a huge part of my life for the last 41 years (I was age 3 when I met my 1st celebrity) and so I felt that the purpose of sharing my experiences with others would not only entertain my intended audience with "off the wall" stories but would also educate them on the do's and don't of celebrity encounters. When it came to the design of my blog, I felt that by making it slightly wild through colors, designed wallpaper and fun font that it would excite my audience mentally, similarly to flashy lights at the county fair. Creating a bit of excitement would ensure that my readers would be stimulated in a way that would make them want to stay and explore my page longer. The content of my blog was probably the easiest of the assignment because it is a topic that is very close to my heart and has been a part of my life for so long. I have added pictures of some of my encounters and I plan a blog series titled "Celebrity Encounters, The good, the bad and the ugly". It will include segments that would include our best encounters, our non-memorable encounters and of course the ugly encounters. I believe my audience will be people of all "reading" ages, people who enjoy a real-life story about people they idolize or have idolized, and people who also share in my hobby of meeting celebrities.
